#FreeBlackMamasDMV is a coalition of grassroots organizations—including Life After Release, Harriet’s Wildest Dreams, Out for Justice, and others—committed to ending the inhumanity of money bail and pretrial detention. Together since 2017, we’ve organized annual Black Mama’s Day bailout actions across the DC and Baltimore metro areas to raise public awareness, build community power, and fight the systems that keep our people caged.
